The vision for Sustainably is to be the guiding resource people use to make sustainable choices every day and to empower people to make those choices confidently so that we can all live in a better world.
Mission Statement
The mission of Sustainably is to help people find their footing in living a more sustainable life. I help by providing resources that help people in navigating eco-friendly language, brands, and products so they can more easily take one step at a time in their sustainability journey. I write to inspire hope for tomorrow and encourage confidence even when things get hard.
Core Values
Respect
Respect should be at the core of every action because our actions always have an impact whether we can see it or not. Even in the absence of love for others, I believe we can still respect.
Love
At its best, I believe respect is a fruit of love but understand that love is harder than respect. It is love that powers why we do what we do each and every day. If respect motivates action or inaction, then love fuels respect more than it could ever go on it’s own.
Honesty
Out of love and respect, honesty seeks to honor others as an ongoing action. Honesty is a choice, and I strive to be honest and transparent in all my work.
Equity
We all need different things, my goal is to demonstrate equity out of love for others and respect for their needs even when it might look different than what I need or have ever known.
